How .eml becomes Markdown
An .eml file is a standard internet email: headers plus one or more body parts. The converter decodes the subject, sender, recipients and date, including accented and non-Latin characters, and puts them at the top. It uses the HTML body when there is one so links and formatting survive, and falls back to the plain-text body otherwise.
Attachments are listed by name at the end but not converted. Tracking pixels and inline images are removed so the result stays readable for people and LLMs alike.
